For today's end-of-week friendly against Haydock Warriors, the squad made the short journey to the opposition's venue with Jacob Matthews making his debut for the team. During the first half, there were five Portico tries and two conversions as a result from outstanding attacking sets, paired with brilliant defence work. During the second half, there were four Portico tries and three conversions, again, following on from great attack and defence. As the game came to an end, the score definitely reflected their incredible performance, as the team's attack and defence was impeccable from start to finish.
